Digital X-ray Inspection System for Steel Pipe

SL-Scan 89 is a new generation of traditional industrial TV X-ray imaging equipment. CMOS X-ray imaging device is substituted by the traditional system of "image intensifier + CCD camera". This new system can directly convert X-ray into digital signals, thus ensuring the dynamic inspection with such features: Low noise, high sensitivity and resolution, easy operation and fast inspection. The system is adopted a new inspection method called "unfold double-wall double-image" penetrating inspection. When the pipe is rotated, the system just collects the inspection data of the central part continuously, which will display a perspective image of two parallel weld seams from top to bottom. This method does not need adjusting X-ray penetrating angle, just make the pipe rotate one circle. Inspection images can be stored in the hard disc or burned disc easily.
